Our patient named Nilgün E. applied to our clinic with the aim of obtaining a more aesthetic, more balanced smile that is compatible with her facial structure. In the first evaluation, it was seen that our patient expected a more natural appearance, especially in terms of tooth form, color harmony and smile line in the anterior region.

Applied Treatments
In this case, the following procedures were applied to our patient:
- 19 pieces of lamina veneer

Each tooth was evaluated individually when creating the treatment plan. In aesthetic dentistry, it is not correct to make a decision only by looking at the external appearance. Especially before restorative procedures such as lamina or zirconium, factors such as the infrastructure of the teeth, the need for root canal treatment, bite relationship and clenching habits should be evaluated.
The treatment plan of our patient was created with this principle. First of all, the existing oral and dental health was evaluated, then restorative planning was made in accordance with aesthetic expectations.
Why 19 Lamina Veneers Planned?
Lamina veneers are one of the most preferred restorations to achieve a natural appearance, especially for aesthetic expectations in the anterior region. In this case, it was aimed to achieve a more natural light transmission, more elegant tooth forms and a smile in harmony with facial expression.
The main reason for planning 19 lamina veneers was to harmonize the teeth visible in the smile. Because changing only a few teeth can disrupt the integrity in terms of color and form in some cases. For this reason, a more balanced result was aimed by evaluating the teeth visible in the smile line together.
With lamina veneers, the shade, length, width, surface form and position of the teeth in the smile were arranged in a more aesthetic integrity.
Why Zirconium Veneers on 1 Tooth?

In our patient, zirconium crown was preferred for that area by evaluating the existing structure of a tooth, its durability need and its position in the treatment plan.
Zirconium crown is an option that can be preferred in cases where aesthetic appearance, durability and all-round support of tooth tissue are required. In this case, it was planned as a more suitable solution for the relevant tooth without disrupting the integrity of the overall smile design.
Why was root canal treatment necessary?
During the treatment process, the need for root canal treatment was detected in a tooth. It is very important to prepare the tooth on a healthy foundation before starting aesthetic restorations.
Root canal treatment is a treatment applied when there is a problem in the internal tissue of the tooth. The aim is to keep the tooth in the mouth, to control the risk of infection or pain and to ensure that the restoration to be made on it is planned on a healthier basis.

Why was a night plate given after treatment?
Post-treatment preventive measures are important for the long-term healthy use of aesthetic restorations such as lamina and zirconium. For this reason, a night plate was prepared for our patient.
Night plaque helps to protect restorations, especially in patients who tend to clench or grind their teeth. By helping to reduce uncontrolled forces on the teeth, it can help to protect both the natural tooth tissues and the veneers.
In this case, a night plate was planned to help maintain the treatment outcome in the long term.
What kind of change was achieved as a result of the treatment?
When the treatment was completed, a significant aesthetic transformation was achieved in our patient's smile. Teeth, which initially appeared more irregular in terms of color, form and smile line; at the end of the treatment, they had a brighter, more balanced and more harmonious appearance.
